I want to share my love for Austin with ya'll so I have compiled a quick guide to the most instagrammable murals in Austin. I also included driving directions with a clickable link within in the tittle.
Austin is one of my favorite cities. I love the food & music, there is a reason why it is called the music capital of the world.
I also love the fact that you can sit outside in the patio while sippin' on your margatita during winter (we really don't get winters in Texas).

1. Willie for President
Willie once said: "I live one day at a time, one day at a time. Yesterday's gone and tomorrow is blind, so I live one day at a time." There are murals all over Texas honoring the singer and Austin has the best just like this one.
2. You're my butter half
This is one of the cutest and most photographed murals in Austin. It is one of the first murals I visited many years ago.
4. Love from austin
This mural is located on the side of a coffee shop in South Congress, its a hidden gem.
5. Austin Texas (Planet K)
This is one of my favorite murals because it is so colorful and it has all the great things about Texas. It is located on the side of Planet K.
6. Won't you be my neighbor (Mr Rogers)
Who doesn't love Mr. Rogers? If you do, you want to take a picture of this mural. It is across from Home Slice Pizza & get a slice while you are at it.
7. I (heart) Austin
This mural is so pretty in person. When I visited it had just been vandalized but the Artist fixed temporarily.
8. Legendary Memories
This mural is in the heart on South Congress. You can't miss it. Pro Tip: GO early in the morning or at the golden hour to avoid shadows in the picture.
9. Don't Mess with Texas
I don't think this mural needs explanation. You simply don't mess with Texas.
10. Janis Joplin
I stumbled upon this mural while walking late to brunch. Its located in a parking area and there is a Willie Nelson Mural next to it.
11. Greetings from Austin
This is an iconic mural in Austin. If you want to get a picture without waiting in line or to avoid crowds, you'll want to get there early in the morning.
12. Bakery Lorraine (Domain Location)
Bakery Lorraine is a bakery originally from San Antonio, that makes the best early grey macarons. A couple of years ago they opened a location at the Domain in Austin. This gorgeous mural is on the side of the building.

13. Home Slice Pizza (SOCO)
I hate to admit that from all the years that I have been devouring Home Slice's Pizza and I have never taken a picture of the actual pizza. It's usually gone before I could take a snap. This is my favorite location and its located in the iconic South Congress Ave.
14. Be Here Now (East ATX Hotel)
East Austin Hotel is a new addition to 6th street. The space is so aesthetic and Instagram picture worthy. The Upside bar is located upstairs crafting delicious cocktails, and a Sixth and Waller Restaurant downstairs serves breakfast all day.
15. Austin East Ciders Collaboratory
Austin East Ciders is my favorite cider. The taste room called the Collaboratory it's the place to go for tastings when they release new ciders. They have added new flavors and sometimes you can get special ones only at the Collaboratory. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
16. Inside Wild Chix & Waffles
Wild Chix and Waffles is schedule to reopen in February 18, 2020. They have revamped their menu with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Its an a gorgeous space with great food. This mural is located inside.
17. Smile! Even if you don't want to
This mural is located across from Willie for president mural.
18. I love you so much
Did you really visit Austin if you didn't take a picture in front of this iconic mural? Its located on the side of Jo's Coffee in South Congress Ave. After taking your pic, go to Jo's and get their famous Belgian Bomber or Iced Turbo.
19. Born and Brewed in Austin (behind Pint House Pizza
I visited Pint House Pizza one Friday night during football season. The beer selection and pizza are worth the wait. It's packed on Friday or game nights. This mural is located in the back entrance.
20. Austin Motel
Austin Motel is such an iconic hotel located in the heart of South Congress Ave. You will want to take a picture here, especially when they change the sign.
21. Willie Mural
I love Willie as much as I love Texas. This mural is located next to the Janis Joplin on 6th.
22. Kobe Bryant + Gianna Tribute
After the All-Star Basketball player and daughter passed away, a lot of artists took their talents to create murals to pay tribute. This one is located in the back of the restaurant Sushi Hi. You can see a video of the mural here by the artist LaceandFound.
