Sweet and Sour Mix is the base to a lot of cocktail recipes. This is a super easy recipe, that only requires a few ingredients. Homemade sweet and sour mix is sweet, tangy, and made with fresh ingredients that you will never go back to store bought mix.
What is Sweet and Sour Mix?
Sweet and sour mix is basically lemon-lime and simple syrup mix. If you have ever had a Margarita, most likely it will consist of Tequila, triple sec, and bottled sweet and sour mix. Store bought mix is that is not that great, honestly. So once you start using homemade sweet and sour mix, you will see the difference in flavor and your cocktails will be better.
If you have been here a while or if you just found my blog, I love me a good cocktail with quality ingredients. One of my favorites to make in the summer is the Blood Orange Margarita and Watermelon Cucumber Margarita. My seasonal cocktails are always a hit like my Spooky Margarita and Apple Cider Margarita.
